Botswana Fan
I’m an 18-year-old Franco-German in my final year of high school, living in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. I run a blog about Botswana because it’s my favorite country. I started following what was happening there during the COVID period. My friends say I’m a real Botswana fan, which is why I decided to talk about this Southern African country.
My blog is in French and German because I want to share my interest in Botswana in the two languages I speak. And of course, also in English so it can be read in Botswana and beyond!

Besides Botswana, I’m also interested in geography, history, and politics. In my free time, I learn the world’s capitals. I spend a lot of my time looking at and creating maps. My favorite sport is football: I’m a fan of SC Freiburg and all the Botswana football teams.
With this blog, I share my passion with people who want to explore beyond Europe but don’t know where to go. Through this blog, I also want to connect with people who love this country as much as I do. I hope to show what fascinates me about it.
My Dream...
My dream is to go to Botswana! I would love to go there to discover this country that fascinates me, with its wild fauna and vast savannas. I’ve seen so many photos, travel guides about Botswana are piling up in my room, and I read everything I can find about this country. In short, I’ve become a fan of Botswana, even though I only know it from what I’ve read.
